Every Imaginable Type of White Dining Room

If you’re starting out with a white dining table you can really add in any color or any theme like white cottage furniture or black and white room decor. It can also handle a lot of different furniture types. This is just a chance to really redecorate without replacing your furniture. Often times these pieces can seem a little bit uninspired but just doing a little bit of the design work yourself can save you a lot of money and also allows you to incorporate ideas that flow with the rest of your house but also have a pulled together point of view.

If you have a black and white dining room then you want to bring in patterned chairs. You can do this with the furniture itself or just get a slipcover. This is also a way to breathe new life to plain chairs. You can just try reupholstering the seat. It could have a black and white stripe for a graphic element. You can also find different floral prints just in this very basic color palette. This is going to focus in on contrast and seem very contemporary and modern but still work with the more traditional kind of motifs in the space.

If you have a white dining room set this can feel very light and airy and you can really embrace this and go with a tropical style. You can find shell inspired pieces to go with yoru white dining chairs. This can be a lot more elegant just by using the shells themselves instead of going with kind of a cheesy starfish wallpaper that was so popular in outdated designs. You might just want to go with an oversized capiz shell chandelier. This can be very graceful in feeling and really it's important but it is still casual looking. The same rules apply to other designs even if you're using a white bedroom set.

This is totally different than your mother's crystal kind of chandelier, but it still does have some formality to it and it shows off a lot of different colors in it. Then you can pull out all different kinds of color palettes for the rest of the room. You can also bring it in on accents. Really high end flatware might have a mother-of-pearl inlay. Oftentimes these pieces are dishwasher safe but it may be worth it just because it will just create a very cohesive and high end look in your room.

If you have a white dining room chair then you can really play around with the fabric. You can even put a slipcover on it and go for a beach inspired look with oversized stripes. This can still match your dining room table especially if it's white as well. You can always just change out your theme through different times of the year just by going with a different slipcover or leave the chairs plain.

Another thing to think about especially if you're going with antique white dining chairs is using bigger plates on display. You can do this with a china hutch, plate rail, or just a lot of wall hangings. You can really vary up the sizes of each of the pieces. Keep them in the same color palette. If you have white then you can just change out a few of the trendier items. They could all be white or you could just bring in two or three plates in a different color palette and then change them out whenever you feel like.

This can also seem very vintage. In this case, you might want to go with a romantic feel with over the top window treatments. Just make it a little bit more modern by going with high-end fabrics or even solid colors. You can use a lot of beautiful faux silks in a slate gray. Then bring in a Hollywood kind of style with an oversized crystal chandelier and a lot of beautiful flatware and crystal. This look doesn't just have to be for the holidays it can be a chance to celebrate any occasion even if you just celebrate the fact that it's Tuesday. You can also go with more of a rustic Mexican style. This should focus in on painted furniture but the pieces would all have beautiful woodwork on them in a very ornate style. You can find plates that mimic the patterns on tile with a lot of bright colors but a plain white background. You can even hang tiles on the wall or even install a tile border around the room for a very dramatic effect that is still going to get your theme across.
